About the journal
Academic Forum - Journal of Economics, Management and Law (AFJ) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the University of Insurance and Finance (UZF).
The journal provides a scholarly platform for research at the intersection of economics, management and law, encouraging dialogue between disciplines and between theoretical research and professional practice.
AFJ publishes original research by scholars and researchers from Bulgaria and abroad and welcomes contributions addressing contemporary economic, managerial, legal and societal challenges.
The journal is published in Bulgarian and English, in electronic format and open access. The journal does not charge submission, processing or publication fees.
Aims and Scope
AFJ aims to promote interdisciplinary research and scholarly dialogue across economics, management and law.
The journal welcomes original research in areas including:
- economic theory, microeconomics and macroeconomics;
- international trade, regional economics and competitiveness;
- entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing and management;
- organisational behaviour, corporate governance and business ethics;
- public administration and public policy;
- commercial, corporate, financial and tax law;
- European Union law, international economic law and digital law;
- social and legal dimensions of sustainable development;
- interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research.
The journal particularly welcomes contributions that connect different disciplinary perspectives, address contemporary societal and business challenges, and combine theoretical approaches with empirical or applied research.
Languages
AFJ publishes manuscripts in Bulgarian and English.
For articles published in Bulgarian, the journal requires an English-language title, abstract and keywords in accordance with the Article Template.
