Journal of Insurance and Finance (JIF) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal published by the University of Insurance and Finance (VUZF University), Bulgaria. The journal is the successor to VUZF Review, building upon its established academic tradition while expanding its international scope with a dedicated focus on insurance, finance, and business economics.

The mission of JIF is to publish original scientific and applied research that contributes to the advancement of financial and economic knowledge and promotes the exchange of ideas between academia, business, and public institutions. The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts in the fields of insurance and reinsurance, pension and social security systems, banking, financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, investments, risk management, actuarial science, financial regulation, behavioural finance, financial law, entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable finance, green investments, and international finance.

JIF is published exclusively in English and appears twice a year, with the possibility of special thematic issues. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and plagiarism screening before publication. Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and the journal follows the internationally recognized publication ethics principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The journal is intended for researchers, university faculty, doctoral students, financial professionals, policymakers, and practitioners seeking high-quality research on current developments in insurance, finance, and business economics.

Academic Forum - Journal of Economics, Management and Law (AFJ)

Academic Forum - Journal of Economics, Management and Law (AFJ) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal published by the University of Insurance and Finance (VUZF University), Bulgaria. The journal succeeds the former journals Business and Public Sector Management and Money and Culture, bringing together their academic heritage within a single modern publication that promotes interdisciplinary research and international academic collaboration.

The journal provides a platform for original research at the intersection of economics, management, and law, encouraging dialogue between theory and practice. It welcomes contributions in economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics, international trade, regional economics, competitiveness, entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing, corporate governance, organisational behaviour, public administration, public policy, commercial, corporate, financial and tax law, European Union law, international economic law, digital law, sustainable development, and other interdisciplinary fields.

AFJ publishes articles in both English and Bulgarian and issues one or two volumes annually, including thematic editions. All manuscripts are subject to independent blind peer review, plagiarism screening, and editorial evaluation in accordance with internationally accepted publication ethics and the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Each published article receives a DOI and is made freely available under the journal's Open Access policy.
